6 Reasons To Be Having Protein Shakes

Around September last year, my personal trainer started to ask me about protein intake. How much was I having? And more importantly, was I taking any protein shakes.

Since my calorie tracking habits tend to relapse a lot, I was also clueless about just how much protein I was taking in. Since then, I committed myself to at least track my protein intake over the course of the day.

At this point in time, I can say with confidence that I have over 100 grams of protein on any given day.

It’s an absurd amount, but it’s not like I’m scarfing down meat all the time. I tried that for a bit and started to gain weight again.

Instead, I turned to the daily protein shake I take and added a second one. This now covers about half of my protein for the day.

It’s been a massive game-changer for me on my weight-loss journey and it’s something others should consider when working to lose weight too. Here is why.
