7 Things That Won’t Get You Far On Medium

I’ve been on this platform since May 2017 and have seen and experienced all kinds of changes through this platform as a writer.
Some of the changes have been good to see, such as the Medium Partner Program. I’ve recommended this platform to people because thanks to this program writers are literally paid to write content.
Sure, the program at this point in time isn’t as strong as it once was. I’ve earned roughly the same amount of views and yet every single month my earnings have dropped time after time.
But despite that, I still continue to write on this platform.
One reason is that I believe Medium can come back from all of this.
The second reason is that even if Medium continues in its slow descent and other platforms work to replace it, we can still learn a great many things through this experience. Even apply those things we’ve learned in our work here and moving forward.
So to people who have been on this platform for a while or if you’re newer, here are some things that I’ve noticed that will ensure that you won’t be making it very far on the platform.
