  1. A diet technically is any eating habit. Going to McDonalds every day is a diet, just an unhealthy one. Intermittent fasting is about eating a certain way which means it is a diet.
  2. I did try it for an entire year. Also the focus isn’t so much on the diet itself but rather how people are putting double standards on this.
  3. Obesity is definitely a problem but the other issue is when a woman tries this, there is harsh criticism or people come out of the woodwork to shame that person. Me trying it, as a man, I wasn’t shamed but rather informed my fasting put me into a famine state and I should be eating more.
  4. Yes, I agree. Personal trainers I’ve talked to have said time and time again that most weight loss normally happens outside of the gym rather than in it. Eating — both amount and how healthy it is — is one of those things.
