Ah you are right on that. I heard the expression from Benjamin Hardy (he too posts a bunch of quality articles that aren’t behind paywalls) around the time and didn’t know where it actually came from. I didn’t link much in the article at the time but I’ll be sure to go and do that. I’ve been working on making a habit now of linking my articles to resources rather than leave it link free so to speak.

Also I appreciate those kind words Geoffrey. I have to say that’s my first time hearing that one and it’s uplifting for me as well. I can’t express how grateful I am to read that. My mentality around the whole thing is I am a giver and a writer. A writer must be paid and can’t always give, give, give. But by giving a lot and putting care into what I give, I can better sell in the future and get paid more as people have seen how much I give out and my paid work is no different.
