Blue Zones Don’t Hold The Answer To Long Life

From the moment that we learned the human cycle naturally ends with us dying, we’ve spent so much time fearing death and looking for alternatives to extend our lives. From improvements in medicine and technology, we’ve been able to extend our lives well beyond 30s and 40s to 60s and 70s.

It’s not out of the question these days that those in the best of shape can live upwards of their 80s and 90s. It’s a phenomenon that of course captured the attention of the self-help industry and was used to push all kinds of tips and tricks to people.

If you want to be living a long life, you have to be eating more veggies or go on a Mediterranean diet. Even though the Mediterranean diet excludes the foods eaten from mediterranean coastlines.

You have to give up alcohol even though studies find drinking some alcohol helps in getting you to reach 90 years regardless of gender.

But the biggest now fully revealed contradiction to longevity advice is to use people living in those fabled Blue Zones and harnessing their habits.
