Feeling The High Levels Of Stress? Try These 5 Activities

Sometimes we have to think past thinking stress is all in our heads.

There are a great deal of stressors in our lives. Some come from the overwhelming amount of decisions we have to make while others are the consequences of those decisions from time to time. On top of working and the world being where it’s at right now — an unfair capitalist society filled with exploitation — the vast majority of people are stressed out.

For me, I’ve always looked at stress as something that is in our heads. Yes, we create it ourselves — hence the reasoning to think that way. But it can also be presented as a sort of hand wavey sort of way to suck it up and deal with it.

It dismisses the actual weight that comes from stress and how to properly process it.

At the same time, others would argue to indulge in more self-care. Treat yourself to soothing bubble baths, scented candles, take more breaks and so on.

However those methods, as good as they can be, aren’t always effective when indulged too much. When one is stressed out, one doesn’t just settle with a few bath bombs and are “totally fixed” of their stress.

You still have to deal with the stressful situation.
