Funny enough, Tai Lopez was my first point of contact to the self improvement world back in 2015. Like you, his charisma and his overall presentation where he almost wasn't selling you on a course was what drew me in.

At the time, I didn't buy any of his courses as I couldn't afford it at all (he wasn't offering any bundled deals at the time) but his free webinar still left me with quite the impression as well.

I still haven't paid for any of his courses but considering that is his business model to this day he seems more like a Gen Y Tony Robbins (without the sexual harassment charges & scandals) where he sells courses/talks a lot but only some of the stuff works for the regular person.
