There may be one thing that you might be thinking about with regards to this writing challenge and that is:
“What is the point to all of this?”
It makes sense considering I’ve spent months thus far explaining a variety of strategies and facts about patience, understanding yourself, and boosting confidence.
But they all have a particular reason.
That reason is crushing negativity.
Now negativity isn’t all that bad. Some times negative thinking can take on realistic thinking and approaching a problem critically.
And most times negativity keeps us stalled and stagnant, never making progress and dragging others down.
So how exactly can what I’ve been talking about help with all of this?
Patience Will Allow You To Bide Your Time
Patience as I’ve been talking about brings us an understanding of ourselves. As I discovered that patience is more of removing our own sense of impatience, we can use this method to bring down our negativity.
To remove it takes time. I of all people know this as I’ve been trudging through most of my life in a depressing state. Some times it was all in my head, but my first experience was quite genuine.
But I continued despite all of that.
Perhaps I was too much of a coward to commit suicide.
Or perhaps my deep desire to help people became enough of a motivator for it to grow into what it is now.
Either way I was able to bide my time and that means understanding enough to take your time and know what your problems are.
Self-Awareness Gives You Direction And So Much More
As I said, negativity can stop us in our tracks and drag other people down. I feel that people who think negatively are only bent on dragging others down. They feel like a victim as well and yet continue to do nothing about it.
I don’t hate people who think negatively. To be honest, I feel sad for them and wish to help them.
For this reason, I encourage self-exploration.
It’s a desire to learn more about yourself and your inner workings.
If you don’t know what to pursue you’ll shift to a sort of base setting.
You’ll find yourself working at a place you don’t like and your life is comprised of specific habits that don’t serve you all that well and you continue to indulge in them over and over again.
It’s not all that exciting, but it’s a life people choose. You can stick with that life, and that’s your choice. However, if you want to change it, you’ll need to work on your insides.
This is where self-awareness and understanding stem from.
Confidence Gives You The Power To Grow And Push Forward
And finally confidence will bring you the motivation you need to pursue that path. Whether it’s through support from friends or from yourself, confidence can serve you in so many different aspects.
Regardless we need it and it can easily serve as a valuable fuel source to move us on our path.
Being confident also brings us understanding of what value and further solidifies the other things I’ve been talking about.
Confidence can work both ways.
- It can be a boost to giving us the desire to develop patience and understanding.
- It can also be a solid foundation to press forward with those things in mind.
How you use your confidence is entirely up to you.
Crushing Negativity Is Up To You
At the end of the day, your path is your responsibility. You are responsible for dealing with every roadblock in the way.
Wether you get the help from your friends or you think of something creative yourself is up to you.
But you own that shit.
Negativity is simply another obstacle, but it can keep you on the ground so you don’t get overboard with positivity. After all, there are still some realistic dangers to too much positivity in our lives.
To your growth!
