How To Reset Your Mind To Being Your Better Self

Our brains need unwiring and rewiring.

Last week I did something that I long since had anxiety and nerve of doing. It was something I’ve been meaning to do, but couldn’t get myself to do for months.

I sighed, booted up iMovie, hit record, and started talking.

I’ve got the video all edited and complete, but I’m waiting a bit of time to upload it to Youtube as I’m working with someone that’ll help create better thumbnails than what I’ve been doing.

But getting back to recording videos it’s bizarre I’m aware. We’re in 2024 and have access to a wide spread of technology. At this point most people are comfortable with taking videos, selfies, and meals.

And they’re cool with doing that several times a day.

Meanwhile, I’m the stark opposite. My profile picture on here even is a picture I took in 2017. My appearance hasn’t changed that much, but I don’t go out of my way to take pictures of myself.

My social media presence is non-existent and my content strategy amounts to resharing a few posts, engaging with others content sporadically, and once in a while throwing in a post or two of my own. It’s not ideal if the intended goal of my writing is to build an audience.
