I can definitely relate to this. I actually went through and graduated, though my degree is really just as valuable as the piece of paper it’s on. It was a mistake on my end to go through with it all, but at the end I found what I’m interested in the most which is writing as well.
Anyway the two things that you have going is a really good start to getting to where you want to go in the first place. You need a direction to go in (your vision) and a plan to go after it.
But one thing to keep in mind is that your plan can always change.
There are many ways to earn money as a writer outside of what you are writing initially. So don’t always be fixated on the straight and narrow path. There are many opportunities out there. So pick the things that’ll lift you up and bring you closer. They may not be things you want to do exactly, but keep in mind it is temporary.
Good luck out there.
