I can see checking stock accounts being good too. Either way, I can understand where you’re coming from Daniel with not wanting to check your bank account. As I’ve suggested in my writing I’ve had a history of shaky finances so checking it back then was more stress and anxiety-inducing than now. Still, I think that checking our accounts more can give ourselves a reality check and to help us look at our money a bit differently. Your case I’d say is rather interesting in that you’re putting money into stocks and growing your wealth that way.
