I did notice the inclusion of audio recently and I'm sort of meh with it. I understand to some degree why people would want this as things like podcasts and audiobooks are growing in popularity. So having this content there would help.

The issue though as others have pointed out is the fact these aren't our voices and we're relegated to whatever generic voice Medium decides to offer.

Beyond that it's not like we have a choice either. Our articles must now have an audio version. I would be better about it if we actually had the opportunity to record our own voices as we'd be able to emote in them properly.
