I have been reading up on crypto here and there and my general understanding is that it's both a money and a stock meshed into one.

It's also worth noting that while I wrote this piece this year, all these events took place in 2015. Bitcoin was created in 2009 and was only a small corner of the internet and its value was a small portion of what it’s worth now.

I have no issue with Crypto overall as a concept (something I'm going to make clear in an upcoming article). My issue is the sort of toxicity and reckless mindset others seem to adopt revolving around this.

As far as a score for bank's and government I'm not sure what I'd give. The system does have flaws. But so does crypto. It's the future, yes, but I think people are refusing to believe that crypto as it is right now also has serious flaws and instead think of it as some unstoppable force that is immaculate in every way and everyone will make millions of dollars.

I write (and sometimes do videos) about self-help for those who don't like self-help. Complete with the occasional memes and riffs on the industry that I love.
