I moved back home to my parent's place in my early 20s and lived with them for several years. It was in my childhood room where I began writing and honing my voice as a writer. Honestly, some of the bad habits that I picked up from that still are a hinderance now (reluctance to engage with other people, thinking it's me vs. the world, etc.).
However there were still a lot of good things that came from it. It was time to figure out what I wanted to do, what I cared about, and what to really focus on.
I was scared of going back home for various reasons. But having to go back home to live with parents is never a step back. It's an opportunity to gather yourself, to begin anew, and change a lot of existing perceptions that you have that don't actually help you grow.
I'm sure you'll get through this, even though this is the first time I've ever read your work. :)
