I remember a few years ago that a streamer I watch (named Day9) was to be the host (or announcer, I forget) of a DOTA championship. At the time, he had very little experience with the game and fans were furious that the championship would be ruined because the commentary wouldn't be as good.

The reality is the championship was incredible and many people highlighted the commentary. Despite Day9's lack of experience, his curiosity and questions made it appealing to newer fans and other people who haven't heard about the game before.
