I think the issue is people are looking at one part of it and inflating the one situation (i.e. I got scammed). I did get scammed, but in the grand scheme of things I only lost a few days of my life "mining". It hurt but it didn't hurt that much since the scammer literally took 0.0000001 BTC from me or something like that while the rest was stored in my wallet (which wasn't much because again I was "mining" for bottom of the barrel for Satoshi). I learned that lesson and tried to warn others but a blatantly obvious scam that I found (Ethtrade) and people didn't listen. Instead, they're like many of the commenters here who kinda miss the point and see me as someone who's just defacing Bitcoin and crypto.

The goal was more to show the community aspect and how to me it's toxic. There have definitely been some improvements judging by a few comments from you and a few others in here, but it needs work.

I do still think Bitcoin is way overhyped for what it is though (to the point I'm comfortable with calling it a fraud in it's current state). I don't think that'd change from my general understanding of crypto and economics. I plan to talk more about it in future articles seeing as these articles are definitely helping me out with making money from it. Thank you very much for reading and taking the time to comment, Toby! :)
