If You Want To Get Better At Writing, Try This.
Writing isn’t about competition. It’s entirely subjective.
Ask every writer out there and they will offer their own thoughts abut writing, the industry, and what it is like. Some of them will convey these thoughts through writing tips or writing advice thinking that there is a proper way to be writing articles.
These sentiments still linger to this day, in fact, I received a comment several months ago stating that my writing would be “more effective” if I omitted certain words.
If I choose to write similar to how they would be writing like.
Others will share their thoughts on the competitiveness of it. There are regular writing contests day in and day out. You can also look at freelance platforms and the struggle of establishing yourself as a quality writer on those platforms being a struggle.
There is also the inherent nature of writing platforms where published articles pull people’s attention away from someone else’s articles.
This is on top of awards or other accolades received to books and their authors alike.
