I’m a little late coming to this, only now reading through what Shannon went through and now you. It really sucks that people abuse power in such a hateful way. Instead of writing about what truly matters people decide to undermine other writers just for having opposing views. This reminds me so much about group norms and how the attitudes that are established determine just how effective a group is. It’s a good thing that you left because we honestly don’t need all that hate and negativity. It can be frightfully manipulative and like you expressed here it can be troubling on so many levels and about our views.

Stay true to yourself and if anything bad happens to the MPP or Medium there is bound to be other options. As some of the other comments suggest there are always other people out there willing to make a difference and provide many things to others.
