I've been writing about self-help since 2015, Raki, I'm quite aware that there is some diversity. I make light of it by saying there a re smaller self-help gurus who are building a name for themselves. Some follow the same talking points that other big name self-help gurus do while others deviate and try to be more unique.
My point is that popular and widely recognizable advice from richer self-help gurus tend to be like this. At least from my experience. Mark Manson is an exception as well as a few other people I've run into through Medium.
I do agree with the sentiment of getting the 'right' self-help out there, but barring a few rich individuals, I think a lot of the effort is from smaller and middle-tier self-helpers which can be pretty difficult since the rich dude has an easier time getting their message out there. I think it'll change over time, but it's an up hill battle is what I'm saying.
