Not really. To begin it's important to understand that The Sukha company is effectively a small business despite having over thousands of users. Microsoft is a multi-billion dollar company and can afford to offer a lower price.

Second, the price is reasonable depending on how much you value the things Microsoft Office Suite doesn't provide and what The Sukha app does provide. A burgeoning community that you can talk and engage with at any time, productivity tracking, a coach talking to you while you work to remind you to stay focused, distraction detection, among many other features. This is on top of CEOs who use the app, speak on a regular basis to users and are constantly tweaking, and improving the app with new features that they and what community members point out and offer.

Are there cheaper productivity apps out there? Of course there are. But as I like to remind my regular readers about all matter of things, context is pretty important.

I write (and sometimes do videos) about self-help for those who don't like self-help. Complete with the occasional memes and riffs on the industry that I love.
