Now do you see why I don't mention this concept in my article? It's taken me this long to understand a little about what you're even talking about. Plus this could be an entire separate article where I'd be able to articulate the idea more.
I hold the belief that I have because that's what I've been taught and up to this point I didn't know how your proposal even fits into the grand scheme of things. Again, it's not something I dwelled on and I can imagine this Karl Widerquist probably hasn't spent time thinking about the ethics and morality around money creation either. Hence why he said it's incoherent. Normally we don't connect many emotions to how money is made. It just exists and we emotionally attach ourselves to how we spend it or how much we have of it.
These option fees you are talking about seems to me like it's just hidden money piled up and either passed along to those higher up or is just sitting in some vault. So I hope you can understand why it's been tricky on my end because it's not something I've discussed at length with anyone let alone thought about.
I do care, but going back to what I said earlier, talking about these concepts in simpler terms and in ways people can understand it and see it helps a lot. I think most though don't want to admit that and rather stick to their initial thoughts because that's simply how humans are these days.
