Thank you so much for writing this Shannon. It’s actually wild that this is your first year on Medium and you’ve gotten this far. I know I’ve been kind of here and there along the journey but it means a lot to me that I’m part of your story.

As for the helping out, I honestly feel you’ve done that for me in spades. I find it inspiring that you’ve worked this hard and have put so much on the line. I admire your boldness, even if deep down you’re screaming and panicking and worried inside. Your efforts have seriously paid off and I’m sure with everything you’ve learned and gained this year you’ll have an even better year.

All of what you are doing has inspired me to take more steps of my own in my life. In fact, I’d like to be taking more of a leap of doing my own outreach and writing on Medium as I’ve grown rather restless of the meagre work I’ve been getting on Upwork. I don’t think I would be at that point if it wasn’t for watching you succeed and taking a stab at some of the practices you’ve been doing in terms of writing.
