That’s an interesting approach to self-help books. I can’t really attest to that mainly because the books I have been reading are books that acknowledge the hardship and the time. That being said, I feel that there are two books I have read recently that fall under that quick fix. Those books being 6 months to 6 figures (for obvious reasons) and Side Hustle (a book that helps you build a side-hustle in a month).

Still, it makes sense why people felt compelled to buy them. Our attitudes towards business and life in general are getting things done quickly. People don’t want to be hassled with long-game strategies or other details that so many other books fail to mention. But I think that attitude will change over time since so many people don’t really know the hardships and struggles most people have gone through to get their success streak going. We read about success stories as opposed to growth stories.
