That’s insane you’ve had a chair that was almost as old as me. Still I get that completely. Last week I had a conversation with my mom on how I was going to throw out all my childhood arts and crafts that were collecting dust in my closet. We had mice last week and to get access to the attic I had to move most of my stuff in the closet out.

It’s weird because my mom said she recalled me whining when I was 13 that all my old school stuff was going to be thrown out. Compare that to now where I think there’s no point to holding those crafts.

It’s something rather minor, but in a sense I’m putting more and more of the past behind me by throwing that stuff out and focusing on moving forward.
