This is the main problem I find with most of our education systems for sure. We miss out on a lot of practical things that I think are far more important in our lives. All that being said, I think that schools mainly work on teaching some of those skills in an indirect way and often times not in the best sort of way.
When a student fails at something we experience failure, but often times we see failure as a bad thing depending on the teacher. Like something is wrong with us and it can’t be helped. Regardless there are a lot of things that Western school systems teach that are huge misconceptions or at the very least can mean other things than just the one meaning.
