To Level Up Your Self-Help Growth, You Must Do This

The one obvious trick rich self-help gurus omit.

In an attempt to show off his masculinity and that his routine is effective, Ashton Hall set about showing off his morning routine to the world. He posted it in February on Instagram, but it didn’t really start getting traction until a few months later.

Between banana peel facials, mouth tape, and lots of bottled water, the whole routine is so comical, it could be spun as an April Fools article that sounds almost like a podcast ad. But it also sparks something deeper.

As funny as it is, there are people who do take that stuff seriously. There are people who are obsessed with their morning routines. There are people who can be convinced by some rich dude or gals’ routine if they made it more realistic for people to follow.

And I can see why.

For us, routines, advice, and the products the elite expose us to create this idea in our minds that we can be like them if we follow this.

I think we’re past the stage where we’re convinced celebrities actually use the various beauty products thrown at us. But we’re not quite over the routines and advice given by those same people.

I write (and sometimes do videos) about self-help for those who don't like self-help. Complete with the occasional memes and riffs on the industry that I love.
