We Don’t Need Silicon Valley To Tell Men How To Be Men
They’re the best examples of how to not be a man.
Men have been in an identity crisis for quite some time.
In a world where men were told they are the providers of their family, people have created a scenario where men can no longer provide that. We’re in the midst of a housing crisis making it impossible for men to afford a home. Beyond that, inflation and stagnate wages makes it harder to keep up and cover the bills.
Men are also told to support their family they need a good paying job, however with stagnate wages and the cost of tuition increasing year after year, it’s no longer financially realistic to seek higher education. Especially if one is saddled with debt that would take the rest of their lives to pay off.
Because of this economic situation, it also bleeds into other aspects of a man’s life. For example, a man is now more likely to be living with their parents than to be in an apartment.
And while economic status isn’t everything when it comes to attractiveness, it can still be a deterrence for a potential partner. Enough to the point that most men remain single and in some cases never have sex.
