What Is Your Passion?
A simple prompt, but it means so much more.
Like so many other people, I get some weird emails. Some of it is spam, others are advertisements and for the most part it all gets filtered through.
But some emails slip through the cracks.
Some of them are about working for a steel company in China looking to sell in Canada. However this one was different.
All it said was a question.
Eric, what is your passion?
Well, I’d be quite passionate about not receiving weird emails out of the blue, but I left myself open to that — what with plastering my email everywhere so people can contact me with more serious inquiries and all that.
But that aside, that question is something worth pondering about.
After all, looking over my life, I’ve been passionate about a great deal more than that and only some of those things came to fruition.
My passion for writing and expressing myself through art has driven me to being a writer and making the whole gig work somewhat. I know others who tried and stopped writing entirely, some even before they actually got going.
I’m also passionate about video games and drawing, these culminate into ambitions that I can also monetize to…
